Children’s Dentistry at Pearl Smile Dental Group

All children should visit the dentist from an early age

Our dentists always advise parents and guardians to bring their children into the dental practice from an early age. This will help us detect any potential future problems as well as help children become accustomed to the surroundings and the clinical environment. Children can be seen free through the NHS up until the age of sixteen or alternatively, you can choose for your children to be seen through our private dental care service.

Children’s Check Ups

At Pearl Smile Dental Group, our dental care professionals are trained to work with children of all ages. We encourage parents and guardians to bring their children for regular check ups even when they have their baby teeth (or milk teeth as they are known). Our dentists can check their progress and ensure all is developing well before your child’s adult teeth appear.

Child Dentistry Benefits

We can detect any early signs of decay and provide parents and guardians of dietary advice if necessary. It is also important for children to learn and practice good oral hygiene habits such as regular brushing and how to look after their teeth. Our dentists will show them how to brush and which times of the day are recommended. The right toothbrushes and toothpaste will also be advised.

As a part of our children’s dentistry plan, we also offer Childs Hygiene Appointments at £26.25. We also supply and fit sports mouth guards for children from £100.

If parents or guardians have any concerns about their children’s teeth and gums, please do not hesitate to contact our dental team. We will be more than happy to invite you to our dental surgery. Simply fill in the enquiry form below or visit our contact page to make an appointment with a dentist.
